Country Boundary Lines

Country boundary lines are very interesting topic to me. Among them, there are 11 boundary lines which are very important. The story of setting these lines are also interesting. I won't get to that today, but let's have some general knowledge about these 11 important boundary lines.
 

Radcliffe line:

Line among Bangladesh, India and Pakistan. It was named after named after its architect, Sir Cyril Radcliffe.

Durand line:

It is a international border between Pakistan and Afghanistan and it is about 2,640 kilometers (1,640 mi) long.

Green line:

It was established between Israel and its neighbour : Syria, Jordan, and Egypt.

Mac Mohan line: 
Line between India and china which was determined by sir Mac Mohan.

Blue line:

Boundary determination line between Lebanon and Israel.

Purple line:

Demarcation line between Israel and Syria on Golan Heights.

Line of Demarcation:

International border between Portugal and Spain.

Line of control:

It is a border line between India and Pakistan. It is that line which divides kashmir between them.

Border line between India and China.

Northern Limit Line:

This line is the demarcation line in the yellow sea between South Korea and North Korea.

Sonora line: 
This is the demarcation line between USA (United States of America) and Mexico.

Sonora Line

These are very important boundary lines because of their geographical position. There had been many wars in most of these boundary lines. Every boundary line has lots of story of its own. I will post more about these boundary lines in future posts.
